Tempest (A1)

Prospero, Duke of Milan, lives on a lonely island with his daughter Miranda, Caliban (a monster) and Ariel (a magic spirit). He learns to do magic and he wants to punish his bad brother, Antonio. He creates a magic storm – a tempest. All the people with Antonio on the ship land on Prospero’s island. Many strange things happen to them, but in the end they all come together again. Caliban and Ariel are free. Prospero and his brother are friends again.

Prosper, Duc de Milan et habile magicien, vit sur une île solitaire en compagnie de sa fille Miranda et de deux domestiques : le monstre Caliban et le lutin Ariel. Après une tempête, les survivants d’un bateau trouvent refuge sur l’île de Prosper et là ils sont impliqués dans une série d’évènements étranges… Cette version simplifiée et illustrée en bandes dessinées est un excellent outil pour aborder pour la première fois l’œuvre de Shakespeare.
